Farmhouse Breakfast Week returns for its 13th year with celebrity backing on January 22. The annual campaign, run by the HGCA, aims to raise awareness of the benefits of eating a healthy breakfast and demonstrate the variety of breakfast foods available in the UK. The theme for the campaign is ‘Shake up your wake up!’ – focussing on the small changes that can be made to your morning routine to make sure you have time for breakfast every day.
This year the ‘Shake up your wake up!’ campaign has teamed up with mum-of-three, Melinda Messenger to promote the benefits of eating a healthy breakfast every day. Melinda will be keeping a blog during the week with breakfast tips and advice. Click here to find out more.
All businesses in the food industry, from farmers to retailers, are being encouraged to hold events to promote the importance of starting the day with breakfast and to celebrate the wealth of wonderful breakfast produce available around the country. Visit www.shakeupyourwakeup.com to find out how you can take part.
