Lord Taylor of Holbeach is Conservative Environment, Food and Rural Affairs spokesperson in the Lords. He has now signed up for the Why Farming Matters campaign.
"The importance of farming to this country should not be underestimated. Our farmers produce some of the best quality food in the world, while carrying out huge amounts of conservation work to ensure the landscape that we all enjoy maintains its unique appearance.
