Norman Baker MP
MP for Lewes Constituency, Lib Dem:

"Farming is undervalued in our society today. The 'natural' look that people enjoy is in fact a cultivated one achieved through hard work by our farmers.
"Farming is also the glue that holds together the rural community, not simply directly in terms of employment but more subtlety in terms of the hidden benefits it brings.
"Perhaps most importantly in an increasingly uncertain world, we need to ensure that we continue to retain the capacity to grow a large percentage of the food we need to feed ourselves here in this country.
"I am delighted to support this NFU campaign."
