Why Beef and Sheep Farming Matters
Grazing cattle and sheep have been a feature of the British landscape for hundreds of years. Livestock help maintain the unique beauty and biodiversity of our countryside as well as providing an important and tasty part of a balanced diet.
This campaign launched in November 2007, raising awareness of the importance of the industry, highlighting the disparity in prices and encouraging people to buy British.
A wealth of media coverage has been generated and an NFU cooking roadshow hit the streets, visiting town centres across the country and allowing people to have a taste of what makes British beef and lamb great.
