NFU has a perfect recipe for a Great British Christmas

26 November 2009

Locally produced British turkeys, along with local seasonal vegetables are the ingredients to a truly great Christmas. This is the message the NFU are taking to the BBC Good Food Show this week.

The Good Food Show which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from the 25th November to the 29th will see the NFU showcasing British farmer's mouth watering Christmas produce. Farmer and world record holder, Paul Kelly will be on the stand wowing the crowds with his turkey carving demonstrations, along with growers giving away their locally grown seasonal fruit and vegetables.

The stand supported by ABN, a leading British pig and poultry feed manufacturer, will remind visitors to look out for the Red Tractor logo to make sure they are buying quality assured food produced to high, independently inspected standards.
