Christmas competition for creative kids
18 December 2009
With the Christmas holidays nearly upon us, are you looking for a way to keep the children entertained until Santa arrives?
If that's the case, we may have the answer with our competition in which youngsters can win a digital camera by creating the best farm-themed art out of British produce.
To enter the competition, which can be found on the back of our 'Changing Attitudes' activity books, get arty and make a picture on the theme of farming using food. It could be a farm animal, a farm scene, a farmer, a farm market stall - let your imagination run wild.
You can use any food items to make your picture, but they have to be grown or produced in England and Wales. Make sure you get your entries in soon as the competition closes on December 31.
Packed full of facts, puzzles and quizzes, the Changing Attitude booklet explains how farmers produce tasty, nutritious food as well as managing and maintaining the British countryside. Download a copy here
