Celebrating Red Tractor Food

04 March 2010

Red Tractor Week 14th -20th June 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of the country's leading food assurance scheme in a week packed with celebrations to highlight the success of the Red Tractor logo. The distinctive logo helps shoppers easily identify an extensive range of quality food and drink that has been conscientiously produced by assured British farmers.

All the week's activities will reflect the theme 10 Years of Great Food and Great Farming and will include special events, promotions and giveaways at supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and schools around the country. For more details of the week and an inspirational Summer Eating Guide full of delicious recipes, kids activities and the nation's top ten outdoor eating spots visit www.myredtractor.co.uk.

The Red Tractor mark is now found on a wide range of food and drink products including chicken, pork, beef, lamb, turkey, fruit, vegetables, salad, flour, sugar, cereal, dairy, chips, beer and more. All Red Tractor farmers, producers, processors and packers are regularly inspected by one of the 450 independent experts who conduct more than 70,000 inspections each year and guarantee that all Red Tractor products can be traced back to the farms they came from.

Further details on Red Tractor Week will be released shortly.
